\nRose absolute is one of the most expensive and popular aromatherapy oils, used in high end perfumery and skin care. Absolute meaning pure (absolute) alcohol derived. 1 tonne of rose petals are required to obtain 1kg of rose absolute. Rose is extracted as a wax-like substance called rose concrete by solvent extraction, followed further alcohol re-extraction produces rose absolute. 1kg of rose concrete is aprox worth USD$250,000/Kg. Rose oil is a beautiful aromatic oil recognised worldwide, ideal for all skin types. Blended with Jojoba oil (a high quality liquid plant wax) that doesn't oxidise or go rancid makes this beautiful floral oil both affordable and suitable for use directly on the skin, oil vaporisor and multiple applications. Blends well with geranium, chamomile roman and citrus oils.
